A Caribbean Cruise on the Wind Star will begin and end in St. Thomas or Bridgetown, Barbados with direct flights from the U.S. via Puerto Rico.
Its standard ports of call are the French West Indies, the U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Barbados Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.
The Wind Star offers course by course in stateroom dining while on board as well as traditional, casual or specialty dining in the Veranda the Main Dining Room with its shore side open café feel and open seating, but dress is casually elegant to the more casual dining areas where no tie is needed.
The Degrees (formerly the Bistro ) offers cuisines from Northern Italy to France and Indonesia all prepared by a world renown chef.
Relax on board in one of the hammocks on deck and swing in the breeze while ice cold lemon scented towels and cold sorbet ( in an orange half ) or afternoon hors d’ oeuvres are brought to you.
On board entertainment is minimal on the Wind Star; the casino only has two blackjack tables, a roulette table and a few slots and poker machines.
The Terrace Club for drinks offers a more intimate atmosphere.
The ship also has a library with the latest in hardcover and paperback books as well as an assortment of the latest DVDs

Owner’s Cabins and Staterooms; Upon arrival you’ll be greeted with a chilled champagne reception, inside your lavish suite or stateroom you will have chilled champagne waiting, fresh fruit, and fresh flowers.
Refresh yourself by entering into your bathroom with its white porcelain sink and granite counter tops loaded with L’Occitane bath amenities, step into a hot shower with custom shower heads.
Step out of the shower onto teak wood floor and slip into a pair of complimentary slippers and a plush terry cloth bath robe.
Then relax in a queen sized bed with crisp Egyptian cotton linens and enjoy your champagne and appetizers.
Your accommodations will have ample closet space, internet access, flat panel LCD T.V., DVD player, mini bar, separate shower and toilet stalls, large vanity, slippers, a terry cloth robe, thick towels, Swiss toiletries and a daily replenishment of fresh fruit, flowers and ice.
