Cruising South America

Posted By admin on August 5, 2009

Cruising South America will give you the chance to experience nature at its finest. Since the famous Amazon Rain Forrest that covers a large area of Brazil, Peru, Guyana, Columbia and other countries, you will be able to experience this ecological wonder by joining an expedition team that can take you safely through the nooks and crannies of this tropical forest that is said to contain about half  of the worlds’ species.

Besides from this, you can also enjoy South American Beaches like Rio de Janeiro where it is considered perfectly legal to wear your “birthday suit” to swim and you can also expect to enjoy the many different varieties of scrumptious food each country has offer.  Delicacies like the “cuy”, which is a guinea pig served with potatoes and spicy peppers, and also savor the flavor as you  drink the Yerba Mate, a South American concoction that has a very high nutritional content.

But keep in mind that South America isn’t just forests and exotic animals. Although there is a vast amount of land that clearly nature lovers would die for, there is another side of South America that resembles some of the busiest of cities that there are and they are every bit as cosmopolitan as those found north of the equator.

With diverse opportunities to experience from both sides of South America, it’s no wonder why so many people enjoy cruise trips to this part of the world. And with the locals being among some of the friendliest you will find in the world, you will surely feel right at home in any part of this amazing country.

  1. I’ve noticed your website a while ago, just never really got a chance to post anything back. I found it to be very useful and would like to see if you are able to get in touch with me and maybe we can have a discussion on a few of these topics. Would appreciate a response back.
