An Oriental Cruise Escapade

Posted By admin on September 30, 2009

If you are dreaming of discovering the gardens, temples, pagodas and all of the other wonders of the East
, then there will never be a better way of fulfilling that dream than to take an Oriental Cruise.

A lot of beautiful places exist in the Orient and remain undiscovered because there are countries in the East which are only now  starting to open up to tourism. A cruise in this region offers an intense and unforgettable kaleidoscope of verdant forests, soft beaches, incense-filled temples, lively and pulsating markets, sophisticated cities and of course, a very rich and varied culture.

Under the humid Oriental climate, cruising literally takes the sweat out of traveling to places. After  spending a day of shopping for fine antiques,  elegant jewelry, silks and other Eastern flavors, its time to enjoy the magnificent view from the deck as your ship moves on to the next destination which  will certainly be a blissful experience.

Beside from pleasures to the eyes and taste buds, a different kind of food experience can also be savored. Prepare for delectable dishes, discover local specialties and taste the Authentic Eastern Spices although Western dishes are also served for the less adventurous diners.

Oriental Cruises are available all year round, though the Far East is a winter destination. Cruises that include hotel stays are often cheaper during the summer months from May until September, which is considered to be the off season because of the intense humidity and rain. However, conditions are not the same from country to country.

For example, Singapore which is a base port to a lot of Far East and Oriental Cruises has a fair amount of rainfall but is very moist in May and September. In Thailand, the monsoon season is from May to October while Vietnam remains hot and dry from October to April. These details can give you more of an idea of when would be the best time to go on an Oriental Cruise.  Whenever you decide, you will not be disappointed.
